Those two resistors ought to connect to connection 14 which is only used when a governed motor is installed. A synch motor connects only via 13, 15 & 16 (15 & 16 are strapped together on the motor mount plate).

There's no way that 150 ohms (2x 300 ohms in parallel) ought to be in series with the synchronous motor. Don't recall what the current draw is on those motors (mine isn't right here now) but any significant part of an amp will drop a LOT of voltage across 150 ohms.

But we are making process. Can anyone add a reasoning for the two 300 ohm resistors in parallel that are part of the motor circuit as shown on the M15 schematics? I may just jumper around them as a trouble shooting step. Anyone with any ideas? Steve G./N4TTY From: WAYNE <teletypeparts at comcast.net>

Undocumented mods or wiring changes. 4. Efforts to fix the machine by someone who has no idea what they are doing. Not sure which is the worse one, probably #4. Keep on and you will find the trouble. 73, Wayne KB1FDW ______________________________________________________________
