Hi Larry,
There is a device USB<>TTY.

2 or 3 batches of them have been made, but I don't know of any loose
ones available.
Have you been able to test keyboard to printer?
You'll need a 60 mA (or perhaps 20 mA) loop to interface with the
USB-TTY device if you don't already have one.
