Trepac in Englewood, NJ  and 
Diamond Repeater Co. in Madison, NJ 
both made solid state polar relays, in the 
60s ... but neither was made in a 255-like 
enclosure ...  

At ITT Worldcom we used both models in our 
leased line M28s ... avoided a lot of tricky 
adjustments needed by 255 relays.
