[GreenKeys] PC Boards for TU's

Guys,

Two gentlemen on the list have offered to take my PC board schematics
and building information and producing board layouts so they can be
produced.  I don't want to have them waste their time if there isn't any
interest in doing this.  I have gotten NO emails asking about this and I
by mistake "hijacked" a thread about XR2211 boards and should have
re-titled it.

I can easily provide the schematic and building information so that one
of these guys can make the layouts and I would have some made, but I
need to know if anyone is even interested.  I put a new computer online
yesterday and didn't realize that it would make a difference on sites
and lists, but I have spent a good part of the day fixing site problems
and subscriptions to things.  I'm obviously not computer literate enough
to do what needs doing, but I would do the legwork necessary to make
them available to builders.

Let me know as I can easily provide information for the ST-5AS I
mentioned, the DT-600 (ST-6 on one board), and maybe others.  I could
have some other types that were in magazines, but these two are the best
non-commercial ones I have used.  In both, there is a requirement for
the old Bell System 88mh toroid coils (non-potted) so the mark and space
filters can be tuned properly.  Otherwise parts are common.  I do have a
stash of toroids, likely several pairs for each one built, but we may
need to find more, or find some of the old variable coils like we used
to use in the very early SSTV converters and units of that era too.

Anyway, if any interest please email me with your choice of units. I'll
dig out a couple of pictures of either built units I still have or will
search to see if there is an easy site for you to see what I'm talking
about.  Both of these units were in Ham Radio magazine, as Irv Hoff did
all the early designs, and maybe I can locate those articles and post links.
Thanks,
Don, WB5HAK
