[GreenKeys] Odd problem with m28

I would guess that the typing unit, specifically the stunt box, was setup
for Telex which would prevent spacing on FIGS J as on a Telex machine FIGS J
was the bell, so no spacing will occur.  But the type box you have on your
typing unit has an apostrophe in the FIGS J position, so it prints the
apostrophe instead of nothing and also does not space, so the following L
types on top of the apostrophe.

 

My thoughts anyway.  Any others want to pipe in and help us all learn
something more about the M28s?

The model 28 I have setup for iTTY has always worked perfectly except

for one thing. When it prints an apostropy, it does not move to the next
space.

In other words, rather than printing  "we'll", it'll print "well" with the
apostophy

printed over the first "l". 

 

A minor problem in the grand scheme of things but wondering if anyone

has seen and fixed this issue?

 

I'm very familar with m15's but not as much with m28's as the two

I have in use just seem to work after a good cleaning and lube for years!
