I was away from home but saw your QSOs on my model 15 when I got home.
Then, this afternoon, I turned on the AC power on my Dentron Clipperton L
and half the AC outlets in our house went out. All the circuit breakers
are fine (checking with voltmeter at breaker panel). The AC wiring in the
basement is really convoluted, so I so far cannot tell what drives what.
Some back porch outlets are also out, so I suspect there's a GFCI
somewhere that's tripped, but can't find it, and would not expect inside
outlets (other than kitchen and bathroom) to be on a GFCI. So, right now,
there are extension cords running around the house to make stuff work.
Always something!
By the way, I how have an area zoom feature on the MUF graph at
https://w6iwi.org . I've also made a couple "Teletype patch panels" using
4x4 steel electrical boxes. Four 1/4 inch TRS jacks with switches were
mounted on the cover of each of the boxes. The jacks include a shorting
switch when nothing is plugged in, shorting tip to ring. One of the boxes
is connected to the Flesher TU-170. The other is connected to a loop
supply with current limit resistor. I can move the model 15, 14 reperf,
and 14 TD back and forth as desired. The 14 TD shows up Thursday! Now I
just have to get the electrical outlets working...
