What I do - I have a v1 Volpe board in series with the v2 Volpe board on the line loop… audio (and power) hooked up to the v1 with USB hooked up to the v2 - all via the Pi. ITTY runs pretty well when I run the audio stream in the browser on the Pi through the v1 (some stuttering at the very beginning due to buffeting) - and Python scripts just the same (runs very well) when running them through v2. Have had no real issues - except my Pi’s RAM can fill up pretty fast - but most of the time, GC comes to the rescue on that :) . The real fun comes when you run both audio and a Python script at the same time ;p … one of the two operators (Volpe boards) needs to hit that break switch and neither ever does ;) ~
