Russ WA3FRP was the first to identify the signals as 450 shift, 50 baud
from a German weather station. I think it is great that these folks at
Bletchley Park are STILL intercepting German RTTY with their original WW2
RCA AR-88 receivers! There are a number of fascinating videos on YouTube
about Bletchley Park, German encrypted RTTY (Tunny), and Colossus. If you
ever have a chance to visit, it is a truly wonderful experience.
Thanks to Russ, Daniel K6YIC, and Milt AD5XD for figuring out the signals.
And I got confirmation from the folks at Bletchley Park:
------------------------------
The National Museum of Computing, home of the Colossus rebuild, use a live
German weather beacon transmission in the Tunny gallery as an example of
radio teletype transmission.
When reception is particularly poor, we have a box with a two way switch
with two-tone teleprinter at one setting and morse at the other, for
demonstration to the visitors.

Cheers,
Nick
