"copy file.txt com2:" (or whatever com device it is) should work if the
file isn't too big.
There have been a bunch of different software projects that aim to do
more interesting things with it than just copy files. The one I wrote
and use is at https://github.com/epvuc/loop-gateway
I haven't tried it in WSL but it could very well work. When I get a
chance I'll give it a try.
There's also John Nagle's BaudotRSS at
https://github.com/John-Nagle/baudotrss which does similar things.
HeavyMetal, I think, hasn't been maintained in years, but used to work
similarly.
I'm sure I'm leaving a few out - if you've written something like this
please let us know!
