[GreenKeys] iTTY and the Volpe USB Interface Board

Thanks Duncan. Regarding "something to convert ...", I'm reminded of this
cartoon
(http://cafehayek.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/miracle_cartoon.jpg) with
the caption "I think you should be more specific here in step two" (which is
a box labeled "Then a Miracle Occurs") :->.

I think that your proposed approach is essence what Mike Douglas mentioned
in a thread ~2 weeks ago regarding his planning to include a demodulator
function in his project.

Paul,

To connect to ITTY and send the signal to your M19, you do not need
Fldigi, MMTTY, TTYBASH or a USB connection. You don't need any software.

ITTY is "steaming audio" in the form of a 5-bit AFSK TTY signal (like
was used to be transmitted by radio).  You just need to be able to
receive the audio (Browser on your computer) and then something to
convert the two audio tones to an on/off DC signal and then maybe a
level shifter to match the voltage/current of your M19 loop.

As Steve said, the Ver 1 Volpe board will do the interface between your
computer audio and your M19 loop.

Good luck & Have fun,

Duncan
