My main thought is the ferrite beads may overheat and crack. Another is
that at high DC current on the wire may render the ferrite less effective.
The beads may choke off too much of the desired frequencies unless the
correct mix is used.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Parasitic Suppressors
After once again repairing the parasitic suppressors in my Dentron
Clipperton L, I got to thinking (which is dangerous!) about the use of
ferrite beads as parasitic suppressors. My notes are at
https://w6iwi.org/ParasiticSuppressor/ .
Any comments?
Thanks!
