I don't think that the "Figs-Blank-H" routine was intended for anything other than two stations
going back and forth. As soon as a third stations wants to join the QSO, then the sequence is
not useful.
One would have to wait until the two finished their QSO and give a quick call to one or both
of them, as they saw fit.

That probably takes care of it, in retrospect from 50 years ago (my most recent HF RTTY activity) breaking in on a normal RTTY conversation wasn't all that easy.
