[GreenKeys] high speed LRPE2 reperf ??

I can’t think how a 28 reperf could go faster than the driven gear. One
rotation of the clutch shaft is one character.
Quick speed check - let it run open for 10 seconds and see how much tape it
punches.
I think 100wpm is 10 char/sec is 1 inch/sec
If you get 20” of tape in 10 seconds then you have 200 wpm gearing (not
uncommon for cross-office traffic).
What gets punched for Y? If double speed I think you’d get
01100 01111
Aren’t teletypes wonderful puzzles?????
