Greetings,
 How does autostart work?Is that functionality built into the teletype machine or is it donein a TU or somewhere else?
I'm guessing there is more than one way to skin a cat and so maybe it is all of the aboveand then some other ways I haven't thought of?

PS I'm still experimenting with building my own iTTY.
Step 1) convert RSS news and entertainment feed to plain text. (almost there.)step 2) convert the plain text to FSK RTTY tones. (Check. Got it)Step 3) Stream the resulting audio live. (I have got a streaming ICECAST server up and running.)
If you follow this link you should hear an infinite drum loop mixed with live police scanner feed.Let me know if you can hear it. This is just to test the streaming server.The reason for the funny looking URL is because I have not purchased a domain name.
