Oh yes.SWAG! I had coworkers who lived for the chance to go to conferences/ trade showsand collect as much SWAG as possible from the defense vendors.Key chains, thumb drives, phone stands, lanyards. One vendor who was selling the printers that print ID cards had a stack of promotional ID cardsthey were giving away with Obama's picture. I snatched up a few of those. They are great for scrapingdog doo off of the soles of your shoes. LMAO.Now the secret to being successful at swag hunting is approach the stand while the vendor is busypitching his product to someone else. You can get in and out unmolested.

I have a bunch of cups that are this exact style. Most were Defense companies like Sanders, Lockheed ect… and seem to date to the late 1970s early 1980s.

Interesting. I never knew cab overs were made because of length laws.(am I jumping to conclusions?)Anyways....The fact that a coffee mug has graphics on it is probably a big clue too.It is very common today but when did that start?Sometime during the SWAG revolution? (I just made that term up.)

Yes the car looks ‘70s. Also the cab over truck fell out of favor in the US by ‘76 when the length law was repealed and the number of cab overs on the road quickly fell off. So if art imitates reality, certainly not before ‘56 and up to late ‘70s is a good guess.

Daniel,
Nice! Judging by the style of the car it looks like it was made in the 1970s? Maybe? The art reminds me of Peter Max.

Most have probably seen this on eBay. I have been watching it for months and finally decided I needed to add it to my collection. It’s pretty cool.
