[GreenKeys] The Movie Pearl Harbor

The 2001 make of "Pearl Harbor" is one of the worst movies about WW2 for
technical accuracy. It is a romantic film, so technical accuracy was
not particularly important, indeed many screenwriters would want the
technical details downplayed. They calculated that the typical viewer
wanting to see a romantic film would actually be put off by excessive
detail, and those who are interested in technical accuracy would not be
attending such a film. As long as they can sell tickets, they will
ignore all of the details they can get away with.
