[GreenKeys] Windows sound issues

Greenkeyers,
I use an older Mac MacBook laptop. (I do have a Windoze XP but it is not set up yet. It seems that getting it running in the ham radio environment is the right thing to do.)
Quite some time ago I got FLDIGI and also a software sound re-routing program called JackAudio:
https://jackaudio.org/
Here is their home page blurb:
"Have you ever wanted to take the audio output of one piece of software and send it to another? How about taking the output of that same program and send it to two others, then record the result in the first program? Or maybe you’re a programmer who writes real-time audio and music applications and who is looking for a cross-platform API that enables not only device sharing but also inter-application audio routing, and is incredibly easy to learn and use? If so, JACK may be what you’ve been looking for.”
Their page on APPLICATIONS at
https://jackaudio.org/applications/
Has MANY, MANY pages of related applications, “Loopers” may be what we are looking for.
BUT, my notes on FLDIGI includes a note from one Greenkeyer saying he just uses a short jumper cable from Earphone out jack to Microphone in jack to get Internet TTY sound into the FLDIGI.
(My notes file on these topics is from 2016 to 2019 - glad to forward it to anyone.)
It is time for me to update my FLDIGI and try it out some more.
To do that, go to:

I also have a simple circuit to accept CW sound from a computer and output on-off keying for a CW transmitter. This lets you take the CW sound from FLDIGI or other CW practice program and key your transmitter. (Audio step-up matching transformer, bridge rectifier, and a Switching device suitable for your transmitter key jack voltage.)
