The photos make three things clear:

1) The TTY and Kleinschmidt cranks are incompatible.
2) The Kleinschmidt crank can be made into a TTY crank by cutting off the large diameter coupling and machining a TTY compatible coupling into the remains.  It might be doable with hand tools and it can certainly be done with a milling machine.
3) If you've got a lathe, a ball-turning attachment and a keyway cutting attachment, you can make either crank from scratch from a chunk of steel bar plus a chunk of wood for the handle.

Item 3 doesn't get you a chrome or nickel plated result, that's another step, but in terms of function, I'd be quite happy with a naked steel or a blued-steel result (bluing is easy).
