At first, I thought it was the main shaft seized up.
No, I took the printer mechanism off and turned it upside down
and tried turning the main shaft. Yeah, there's a lot of force
needed to turn it, but NOT through the entire 360 degrees of
revolution. There's about 30-40 degrees where it turns very
smoothly with no resistance at all.
