Wayne,
I believe that most Motorcycle Oil is detergent free. In most Motorcycles the gearbox, clutch and engine run in the same oil, and apparently detergent based oils don’t work well in this situation

It sure is clean! You will have to lube everything that moves.
Some guys are using 10W30 synthetic oil. Regular 10W30 oil works fine. 10W non-detergent is good if you can find some.
You may have to lube more often. Of course Teletype oil is the best.
Someone on the list volunteered to gift some if a suitable bottle was sent to him. Maybe their was a charge. He had a 5 gallon can or the like of TTY 88970 oil.
