Nick,

I will not be able to be on tomorrow at 1030.

Went to put 2975 hz tone in to my Elecraft K-3 and it is about 40 db
down from 2125 hz. TX filter cuts off at ~2800 hz!  Possibly could
switch the AM filter in when on SSB, but doesn't look like it is easy to
switch back & forth.

Looked for easy ways around it, but my ST-6 has crystal controlled AFSK
generator, so have to change crystals to change tone freq. Also realized
that if I did change the tones, it would screw up someone using a
transceiver.  Guess the solution is a different TX.

I  have been thinking of setting up a tube-type station. I have a GPR 90
and I could probably borrow something like a Viking Ranger or Valiant
from the Museum.

I'll have to see what I can come up with.
