I just wondered if the smiling damsel accompanies the equipment to its new owner to help get it running.

There is an amusing story about the, shall we say, “Plain talking” Timtron, WA1HLR who arrived in Tennessee with a refurbished broadcast transmitter to be installed in the broadcasting station of the full faith ministry of the air it had been sold to.

The highly pious and genteel folks at the ministry of the air, complained to Tim’s company that "there must be some mistake - this fellow can’t possibly be sent to set it up and instruct us in the workings of this transmitter”.

Their reply: “Oh yes indeed.  There is no one in the world more qualified to do all that for you.  Just imagine his personality and manner as a challenge to your heaven-guided sense of patience.”

(Story modified because of the time since I heard it and to protect both the innocent end not-so-innocent.)
