The early M28 LESU cable connectors were female without screw hold-downs

The mating males were mounted on the printer and keyboard base. So No, your
connector wasn’t used on those Mark I machines. I can’t think of anywhere I
have seen a connector like yours in Teletype gear. But with Teletype Corp,
who knows!
