Hello all.
I posted this to the milsurplus and boatanchors crowd with no nibbles
so subscribed to this list to post.
I have come into some Teletype gear that I need to find a home for.
It is all pickup only, although I could be persuaded to drive a
couple of hours one way to deliver. I am in central Georgia.
I have made no attempt to check any of this out. I simply don't
have the time or space for them.
First is a Model 15. Fair to good condition. Stored inside and
dusty from neglect.I don't see any obvious damage. Only thing
I've done to it is to clean up some surface dirt.
As an aside. The city of Warner Robins was planning a 75th
anniversary of the end of WWII, and my wife wanted to put
some form of proper display in the front window of her shop. This
unit was part of that display, along with a BC-342, a pair of
EE-8s and WWII posters. The virus cancelled the shindig, but
the display stayed up for about 3 months.
Second is a Model 14. Not in as good condition as the Model 15,
was stored in sort of a garage with no door. So no direct weather,
but I do see some rust, as well as dirt.
Third is some form of tape reader or punch. I think it goes with
the Model 15, but not sure.
Last is a rusty crusty dirty Western Union model 100(or 103?). This
would take a lot of work to bring back to life, or just parts.
There will be a financial consideration, but it won't be
anywhere near the prices I saw on eBay for this gear.
I'm trying to move this for a third party.
Sure would like for this to all go as a lot. I need
the space.
If there is any interest, I can supply pictures.
Thanks for the read.
