Subject: [MRCA] Teletype Gear
To: <MRCA at mailman.qth.net>
Hi All
I just came into some Teletype gear, that I need to find
a home for. Sort of an estate sale kind of thing.
I do need to see a bit of financial return for this gear, but
it will be in no way anywhere near what prices I see on eBay.
Also, shipping is simply not an option, so pickup or delivery
within a 2 hour drive of Central Georgia.
1. Model 15. Dusty, and looks like it has suffered from benign
neglect, stored inside. But looks OK.
2. Model 14. Not in as good condition. Stored in a semiprotected
space(on a shelf, in a garage with no door). Shows some rust and
dirt.
3. Tape reader (or punch? not familiar enough with Teletype to
be sure).
4. Western Union model 100 or 103. Poor condition, dirt and
rust. Probably just good for parts.
Pictures on request. I was thinking $250 for the lot, but that
might be optimistic. Open to offers.
Not quite in the same vein, but as a part of this, I picked up
an RAL receiver with power supply that I need to find a home for.
Any takers?
Thanks
Jack Antonio
