Come on now, Steve - not everyone has been accumulating free stuff as long
as you have! :-) :-)

The SB-1203 is a really nice patch panel - you couldn't even buy that many
jacks for $50. It has six loops (channels) with rheostats plus the
switchable meter. And the jacks have got all the right switch contacts for
patching sets to loops.

-- LPG (looping jacks) normally closed circuit contact phone jacks. Any
teletypewriter patched to LPG jack with patch cords is connected in series
in that particular channel, two or more LPG jacks are provided in each
channel;
-- SET (set jacks) the jacks labeled SET incorporate a
double-throw-double-pole switch; by inserting a DUMMY PLUG into the SET
jack, the teletypewriter originally in this channel is disconnected;  by
inserting a patch cord into the SET jack, the teletypewriter originally
connected is removed from the circuit and can be patched to any other
circuit by inserting the patch cord into the LPG jack of the desired
circuit;
-- MISC (miscellaneous jack) these jacks are normally closed contact phone
jacks identical to the LPG jacks; the MISC jacks are not wired to any
particular circuit; teletypewriters not normally assigned to a converter or
other terminal equipment are internally connected to the MISC jacks and are
then available for patching to any circuit.
