GA OMs,

When I moved to Los Angeles in the early '80's, I was playing
with my 2-meter rig, and found a repeater. While listening a
voice comes on do to the 10-min I.D. the voice was Dick Van Dykes!
(his voice was really recognizable!!!

I asked about it and one of the guys said that he worked in
the movie industry and asked Dick if he would say a short ID
that they could play on the repeater. When it was explained to
him he thought it was kind of silly - but he was "ALL-IN" for
doing it.

THE MANUAL-TRANSMISSION SPORTS CAR:

The man becomes part of the machine
                and
the machine becomes part of the man.

At that time they achieve "oneness"
