I very much appreciate that suggestion. I had not realized that
stereo transmission might cause problems. I will look into correcting that.
Tonight's broadcast was very much a spur of the moment thing using the
setup we put in place to remotely key CW transmissions for coast station
KSM, now periodically transmitting from an alternate site under a special
temporary authority from the FCC. It occurred to me that using the same
system we could send AFSK tones for RTTY as well as we can for CW. So I
thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't sure a> if it would work or b> if
folks would copy it. It seems the answer to both is yes.
Where we go next with this is an open question at the moment. But I'll be
sure to announce future plans here as soon as we work them out.
