[GreenKeys] ST-6 routine maintenance

I was checking out something with my ST-6 and found (monitoring the
Scope output) that there was no 850 hz shift Space tone (2975Hz). Other
shifts were OK.

I opened up the unit and before starting detailed signal tracing, I
thought I should do a visual inspection of the 2-850 detector board.
BINGO! As I pulled the board out, I could feel that the two toroids were
very loose! The hardware  holding the toroids to the board was very
loose, allowing the toroids to move around and break one of the fine
toroid wires.

After tightening the hardware and repairing the broken wire, I checked
all the other toroids. None were as loose as the broken one, but they
all took a couple of turns of the screwdriver to snug them up.

So just a work of warning - check your toroid hardware occasionally!

Have fun,
