[GreenKeys] LM709N vs SN72709N

the 709 is a pretty poor op-amp by today's standards.  You if you can't
find a 709  to drop in you might consider using a LM358 (ignore one of the
op-amps in the package and ignore the 709 compensation network).  You'd
need to make some sort of mechanicla adapter, but I often build those out
of an 8 pin dip socket.

If you want to go that way let me know your address and I'll send you two
LM358s and two sockets (the extras in case something gets messed up).
People on green keys have done the same for me in the past; time for me to
give something back.
