Hi John and all,
Yep, the pin is towards the front :) … and I believe that the other one is towards the back. I think the typing unit is original with the cabinet… it looks like underneath, a bunch of equipment was taken out - it might have gone down there ;o . Also, the AC power canoe looks like it belongs more to a 15/19, as opposed to a 28. Anywho, if they are the same part number, then indeed the shell can be reversed - that’s very good news ^^ ! I will do some jumping today with some jumpers (*along with an an ohm meter), to see if I can get the bell to go ringy dingy :) . It’s part of the fun of tracing down on how these old machines worked ^_^ !… and I had one more thing I was going to say, but it just slipped my mind ;o … ah well, I’ll probably think of it after I hit send ;p ~
I did watch the back of the stunt box… it does what it should - from what I can tell ;o . To the ohm meter we go!
