[GreenKeys] 2 Meter AFSK

In Metro Detroit, 146.7/146.10 was 'reserved' for a 2M RTTY Repeater. It never happened but several
used the two frequencies as simplex RTTY channels. Don't recall any flack or problems due to this.
When the more or less standard 2M 'band plans' were established in various areas of the country, some
freqs in the system were designated as 'Repeater Pairs' and others as Simpex. The old 146.94 "National
Calling Frequency" before repeaters, went away as area after area adopted the 34.94 pair for Repeaters.
Metro Detroit had some very minor 'growing pains' in those years, but eventually most adhered to the
'band plan' with 600 KHz offsets for repeaters and 'up six' and 'down six' things became standards so
that people 'on the move' with mobile 2M rigs would know where to listen for either repeater or simplex
activity as they drove.

Once upon a time, 146.70 was the frequency in Madison WI and Dallas TX.
YMMV.
