The guy I am discussing it with only have steel and bronze at the moment, but it is definitly something to consider.
Now there is obviously more people ot there that do metal 3D printing, so I guess that Al-alloy shouldnt be any problems in the end.

Hi Tomas -
I'm not currently in need of one, but might be interested in purchasing one, if it would help get the price down for others.
On a design note, I'm not a mechanical engineer, but I wonder if steel would make the part too heavy for the '33 mechanism to move quickly or accurately enough. The original part is made of aluminum, and is very light - maybe on the order of a few grams (I don't have a sensitive scale here to get an accurate measurement). I reckon that making out of steel would make it ~3x heavier. It might be worth putting voids in the re-designed steel part to make it as light as possible - if printing it in aluminum is not possible.
Good luck with this!
Cheers,
Keith

Dear folks.
I am looking into, having a printerhead to my Model 33 3D-printed i steel, is there any interest to have some more printed out.
The guy I am talking to says that it should be doable to 3D-print it, obviously it means that one can have any type of Head, with any characterset made in this way.
Currently I have no Idea what the cost would be, but wil have an indication of price in the near future.
