[GreenKeys] ST-6's in this day and time (also old enough to remember all those tobacco ads)

Sweet! Yeah I have mine working, mostly on ITTY, but I was actually trying
it on the air with all my new-found time. Its not super complicated in
terms of OK here's a rtty signal, tune it for maximum meter deflection and
let er rip, but sometimes a newb just wants to see it done to make sure I'm
doing it right. I did eventually have it copying RTTY once I switched to
LSB, and I have to make a better cable. I also didn't know the FT-857D has
a "digital" mode that includes RTTY (sort of), so once I RTFM I got it
better. If I'm not mistaken, the digital mode has a settable BFO offset
which may let me move the signal up to the appropriate freq for the ST-6.
Still haven't transmitted though - once I make the cable I'll try that side
of things. My antenna sucks so I don't even think I'm making it off the
block.
