[GreenKeys] M28 cabinets - skin tight vs skin tight

Interesting. Here are two of mine from the “to be checked out / to be restored” area of my shack. The first pic is what I was told by an authority is a skin tight 28 (whatever that means). The paper on it says “100WPM TELETYPE NEW”. I don’t know what feed it was receiving that printed that, and am unsure what gears it really has in it. I was told it is ready for ITTY, but have not had a chance to try it and the paper makes me thing the speed is wrong. Unlike a normal 28 it does not have a LESU. I am assuming the selector magnets hook directly to the loop, but I have not gone through the machine yet.

This second pic is closer to what you have, John. I was not able to identify this machine as a 28. It has a three speed gearbox it it. To the left of the keyboard is a lever (can’t see it in my photo) to switch speds. John, I can see there is a lever on yours as well. Is yours three speed?
