No, Teletype definitely wasn't consistent. They used "skin tight" or
"skintight", "cover" or "cabinet", and "rack mount" or "rack mounted". And
an LPC206 style KSR or RO was referred to as a "rack mounted set (skin
tight cover)".
You just gotta know one when you see one..
The TT-176 is not a Compact - it is a rack mount and/or skintight
Definitely a Compact is a Compact, even though it is narrow enough to put
on a rack mount shelf.
The Compact KSR does not have a mechanical keyboard. It is a M32 electrical
type (UGC-20) or photoelectric (UGC-77).
