[GreenKeys] Hal ST-6 using it in modern times

There are many "What's My Line" shows on You Tube many with
the original commercials. Those folks coming into our living room
in formal clothes was great.
I mentioned just now that many old radio shows are available
at archive.org Many of these also have the original commercials.
The exceptions being the shows from AFRS transcriptions. Some
shows had commercials built in, for instance Jack Benny and
Fibber McGee and Molly. Hard to remove them because they were
part of the show. In general, I think the quality of old radio
was superior to television at any time.
Note that most of these recordings were "reference"
recordings made for legal purposes. Transcriptions were seldom
used on the air, at least by networks, until ABC began to tape
record shows for time zone delay around 1946. However, that was
getting close to the end of network entertainment radio. TV
killed it very quickly. While some network shows persisted until
about 1960 most were gone by the mid-1950s. Advertisers did not
have budgets large enough for both radio and TV so radio had to go.
This is all very OT here so I will shut up about it but I
suppose being fascinated with Teletype indicates a certain sort
of mind interested in the past.
