[GreenKeys] Hal ST-6 using it in modern times

Hi Gang
Back when the Signal One CX-7 transceiver was new, it was one of the first to have an FSK position on the
Mode switch. It turned out, though, that although it was 'true FSK' they had the shift backwards. Prior to
the CX-7, maybe only Central Electronics had FSK available, with the 100V and 200V models. Don't know
how that one worked as far as 'frontwards/backwards'. They might have had a reversing switch for this, but I
don't know. I've only seen them on swap tables.
I suspect that most who used RTTY with the CX-7 did it with AFSK and had to use the 'low tones' due to
the filtering in the i.f. and other circuitry.

That's merely a convention, from the early days, before SSB. Most
demodulators have a reversing switch in case the tones are reversed from
what they might be. With DSP demodulators we started out with LSB being
normal for RTTY, but USB was expected for all the other modes, so the
reversing switch was changed to make USB normal for all modes on all
bands.
