Hi Jim and all:

I agree with you about modern lubricants.

The best that I have used and recommend to all who will listen is Lucas Red'N'Tacky grease and Mobil 1™ Extended Performance 5-20 oil.

I have never had a problem with either.

FWIW, I once used Lubriplate (the white stuff) never again! :-(

And then there are those of us who prize the aroma of genuine KS-7470.
However there are probably lots better lubricants available today
compared to something that was around since the 1930s.
