    Nye makes a very wide variety of oils including synthetic 
watch and clock oils. Some are available on Amazon. I don't know 
which oil to use for Teletype machines, maybe more than one.
     I have used Nye watch oil on camera shutters.

    They make a very fine instrument oil called Microil. Can be
