[GreenKeys] ASR33 Chad Box hack

Well, my ASR33 broke down in the middle of a run last night - (so what 
else is new?)

The carriage jammed at about column 10 and thus typed a nice square 
black hole into the paper. I flipped the lid up and discovered right 
away that the CR dashpot was stuck. I could work the carriage loose with 
a "pop!", but it stuck again.  Looked grungy too.

This morning I got the covers off and sure enough the piston and 
cylinder were both covered in oily goo - so I cleaned it all off with 
alcohol and a rag, now it's happy again.

My machine came to me missing it's chad box, and there are already chads 
lurking everywhere like little yellow round fleas infesting the carpet  
- so I took the opportunity today to make a fix for the problem.

Attention Purists: This hack involves drilling an itty-bitty 1/8" 
diameter hole in the base pan of an ASR33. If this might offend you in 
any way, please don't read any further...

I had several of these little orange containers that came out of a tool-kit.

I located and drilled a 1/8" hole in the base pan, placed to allow the 
standoff to mount the box by it's back edge bottom. I'm using 6-32 hardware.

I mounted a suitably-long standoff - (that I found in the drawers of 
random hardware) - to the plate, and long enough to reach the bottom of 
the container. I positioned it so that the front of the container covers 
the hole for the chad pipe, and assembled the box to the 33.

You can use a long 6-32 or 8-32 bolt, or all-thread, whatever is handy.

To empty the chad box, I just turn the 33 upside down over a tarp and 
shake it vigorously .

Well, OK, sorry - that was a horrible lie.  To empty the box, remove the 
screw (or nut) from the bottom of the box. Simple!

Works perfect, took 10 minutes start to finish, and cost $0.00.
