Getting old, memory fades... I had the schematics of my machines
and did remember it wasn't CMOS... seemed very early generation even
in the late 70s...
I do remember the prints and manual had a surprising amount of
detail about how the print electronics worked including timing diagrams
and notes about how the stuff processed data.
And there were multiple DIP switches for setting slightly different
operating modes...
