Thanks for giving it a good try at any rate!

I sent out CQs and RY strings every few minutes until 7PM local; heard 
nothing. I will note that there were T-Storms in the area and the noise 
was about an S9.

In the next few evenings I'll see how 40M works from Little Old Dayton 
NV....
