[GreenKeys] 28 Felt Pads

Some possibilities are the neoprene foam sheet used as insulation on air
conditioning equipment. A person on this group once suggested cutting
replacements from yoga pads. Another possibility is fiberglass ceiling
tiles, wrap the pieces in thick polyethylene sheet and tape the seams to
avoid skin irritation and fibers getting into everything. If you want
actual felt, try an auto scrapyard. Felt is often used under floor mats
and behind interior panels in vehicles. Try asking a shop that repairs
seats in vehicles, they may have the felt as well. I am somewhat
concerned about the orginal felt pieces, they likely contain a good
amount of dripped oil and can be a fire hazard. In the Air Force I saw a
28 ASR start to go up when a tobacco addict dropped cinders onto the
pads. A blast from a fire extinguisher put it out, but the cleanup and
wiring repairs took a couple days.
