That brought to mind about the voltages for the 28. The one I got from Nick has an internal loop driver (keyer or whatever you call it) I have played with it on just a variable power supply I had in the shack. I could drop the voltage down way below 24 volts and get good copy off the keyboard. I can not drop the voltage on any of my regular loops that are around 150 volts to test it running a demodulator off the air or internet.
Does your 28 have that internal loop or are you driving the magnets directly like on the 15 printers ?

Greetings –
In a prior message thread regarding the ITTY 100 WPM channel, Ralph Mowery asked about my Arduino project. It’s not quite ready for public release, still adding features and testing, but I’d be happy to describe it, in case it’s of interest to others. In fact I have two TTY projects underway. One is a 36 volt electronic selector magnet driver that, so far, works well with my 28 at 100 WPM. I still have a bit of work to do to on that with optimizing the magnet snubber components. The other TTY project is the Arduino code/speed converter, and that’s the project I’ve described below.
