[GreenKeys] RTTY Answerback Unit

For some one that knows how to do the coding for the Arduino it would seem to me it would be simple to do. I have built from plans on the internet an Arduino that takes touch tones (DTMF) from a decoder and fed into the Arduino to activate relays. Those things from China are only a few dollars . Once the basic unit was made it is easy to change the sequence the device is looking for to activate the relays.

Hi Steve,

I said in my first line that I knew of the workaround built into the firmware but was thinking along the lines of your 3rd paragraph.

Its just an idea that I had. The best way is obviously the way Henning & Fred have implemented it.

My i-Telex machine that has the feature built in but was thinking of trying another machine that doesn't have the mechanism built in and was thinking about an alternative way of producing the A/B code but detecting the arrival of a WRU is the tricky bit unless you go to an Arduino or some other kind of microP.

Alf.
