Well , in reality, a question about the TU-170A ( no loop supply). New
To start with, *_new_* to all this TTY, but love the old machines.
Picked up 2 machines from Paul well pre -covid, and finally getting
around to trying to get them fired up. I have several TU, ( 2 -
TU-170A, an IRL FSK-1000, a CV-483C and will have a Dovetron MPC-1000T
II ( not here yet) The TU-170a's all power up, and I can get them
receiving on ITTY, also get the FSK-1000 to receive on ITTY, have not
yet tried the CV and waiting to see what shape the Dovetron is in.
My question is about the TU-170a's. The loop supply shows to connect to
the P2 connector on the back panel. There is no info in the manual ,
other than the schematic, for P2.
pin 1= DMOUT-TTL
pin 2= +12V
pin 3 = AFSKIN-TTL
pin 4= GROUND
Dont want to do any damage to the TU-170a's , so looking to the
knowledge of the Greenkeyers.
Looking forward to getting on the air and joining in a QSO
Thanks in advance,
John

On the FSk 1000, is there any alignment information out there. Unit was
kind of dirty when I got it, and when first hooked up to ITTY, was
getting even meter movements for mark and space, but now the mark meter
is about half reading of the space.
