Hi Nick;
I'm off the air until I can get to Ham Radio Outlet and get an antenna.
I'm in a condo association and it's tough to get something up that works.
In the '70's there was the autostart channel on 14.075 and it was
REALLY BUSY! We had a great time.
QSOs used to last for quite a while, not like a contest where there is
a quick exchange and then the QSO ends.
I miss that kind of RTTY activity.
Also, with all the GLASS out there, no one is interested in setting up
their gear to work with Teletype machines. I've had a few QSOs years
ago, and explained what they needed to do so that I could copy them
and their attitude was "get with the program, Old Timer!".
