[GreenKeys] strange dovetron?

Mine was modified with LED’s sometime after it was built.  I assume the only reason for the change was cost/available technology.  20 LEDs and a couple of LM3914s is much less expensive than a 2” CRT, High voltage supply, and the deflection circuitry.

Beautiful! Curious how people like the cross-LED display vs a scope? Easier to tune? Same difference?

Funny! Looks like someone reused a Dovetron case. But I’ve never seen a tan front panel for a Dovetron. Only black.    

 

Certainly one of a kind homebrew! I wonder if they hooked up the tuning indicators.
