[GreenKeys] FAA question

I just finished (I thought) removing extraneous and restoring to a
vanilla configuration a KSR console I suspect was used by FAA. It
seemed to conform to IMD-D-361
(http://www.navy-radio.com/manuals/tty/28KSR-FAA-IMD-D-361.pdf) with the
extra lamps for busy and open circuit condition indicators.
I removed the box in the lower compartment which lead to the removal of
auxiliary terminal strips on the right side of printer. (See the
previous discussion on brittle and stiff tubing). In the process, I
discover a #82 lamp in the margin indicator lamp socket. That's a 6
volt lamp and it is normally a 60 volt lamp.
So now I am at the "I should have taken notes" phase. Was there a
re-purposing of the margin indicator? I see in other FAA related
documents a reference to an alert indicator. If so, any reference to a
drawing? It's fairly obvious from the length of the leads it was fed
from the now absent auxiliary terminal strip.
Simple solution ... get a 60 volt lamp and wire it up according to
standard drawings. That would be too easy, and 60 volt lamps are
getting to be scarce. Anyone ever try a 120 volt lamp to see if it's
still bright enough to be seen?
